Product Manager (Full Time - Permanent)
Know-it is the cloud-based credit management platform with a difference. The platform streamlines the credit control process so you can credit check and monitor, chase for payment, collect overdue unpaid invoices, and more all in the one place. As a pioneering and rapidly growing global technology firm, Know-it (Global) is currently launching in the UK. We have planned launch dates for Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA set within the next 2 years. Our aim is to establish ourselves as a global leader in credit management SaaS platform technology.
The Role
Know-it are looking to appoint a Product Manager to their business. This individual will lead a Technology function (primarily Development / Product focused) whilst acting as a “bridge” to the Commercial parts of the business (Sales, Marketing, etc.). In this role, a strong track record of commercial success as a Technologist will be a key attribute as will be the ability to guide and advise on best in class technology solutions for a fast-growing Technology service SAAS platform. They will drive the product forward with new developments and help identify and implement new revenue streams by identifying opportunities in the market.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a senior development team, providing clear direction and optimum team engagement by creating the right structure and strategy to deliver scalable development resources.
- Drive best commercial outcome by challenging proposed technical solutions to ensure best fit to commercial plans.
- Responsible for all third-party supplier relationships, including the procurement, negotiation, management, and monitoring of contracts and ensuring effective end-user service delivery and technical support.
- Clearly communicate our technology strategy with all staff and our partners.
- Developing data security, data protection and integrity policies to ensure compliance with best in class.
- Ownership of technology employed within the business and tracking new technology advancements and industry trends.
- Constantly monitoring supplier market and identify opportunities resulting from new product offerings and/or market shifts (e.g. entry or exit of suppliers, changes in pricing, risk on category).
- Responsibility for all technology and development budgets.
- Assurance, conduct maturity assessments in line with relevant frameworks, build improvement plans and deliver enhancements. Manage accreditations and audits.
- Drive ROI for projects and development, analysing costs of internal and external development vs productivity to inform the allocation of budget.
Skills & Experience
- Be educated at degree level with a BSC or BA or equivalent in computing, engineering or a similar field.
- Strong business, financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong technical decision making with the ability to provide expert guidance on all levels.
- Our ideal candidate will be having a background of working with SaaS fast growth and profitable/profit driven businesses.
- Experience in managing cloud-based technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Proven experience in strategic thinking, application planning and development, project management.
- Great problem-solving skills and be comfortable with performing analysis and insights into the platform.
- Experience with application security including threat modelling, secure coding practices, API security, security architecture design and review.
- Be passionate about technology, driven and high-energy.
