Meet the brand: Know-it
Introducing our new series, ‘Meet the brand,’ where we highlight the newer or smaller brands exhibiting at Accountex Summit Manchester this October.
First in the spotlight is Know-it, who automate the entire credit control process and give businesses the ability to mitigate credit risk, reduce debtor days and increase cashflow in one simple platform.
What do you do?
I’m Lynne Darcey Quigley, Founder & CEO of Know-it, the all-in-one credit management solution.
We bring together the 3 key elements of the credit control process we like to call the 3 C’s; Check-it, Chase-it and Collect-it.
- Check-it provides the facility to run credit reports on companies and automatically monitor for changes as well as receiving instant alerts to changes to your customers behaviour through real-time integrations with Graydon, Companies House, The Gazette and Unsecured Creditor Claims.
- Chase-it gives an overview of your aged debtors and expected payments with the facility to automatically send payment reminders and chasers by email, letter and SMS using a customisable schedule, tracking customer communication throughout the process.
- Collect-it helps facilitate the collection of unpaid and overdue invoices through leading commercial debt recovery specialists Darcey Quigley & Co. Users will have full visibility of the recovery process throughout the collection to payment.
Know-it seamlessly integrates with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and FreeAgent with instant company matching using our data feeds and bringing your aged debtors and invoices into the Know-it platform.
How did you get started?
My background is credit management having worked in the industry for over 27 years and have been running Darcey Quigley & Co commercial debt recovery specialists for the past 15 years.
Over the years I’ve seen businesses make the same credit control mistakes over and over again, resulting in huge cashflow problems as a result of not being paid on time, that could otherwise have been avoided.
I realised the reason for this was because the tools needed for a robust credit control process were inaccessible for many SMEs and business owners simply do not have the time to implement credit management.
Harnessing technology helps businesses improve processes, become more efficient and be smarter and more effective with their data. This is why I developed Know-it, a fintech credit management solution that streamlines the complete credit control process and brings everything needed for effective credit management all in one cloud-based platform.
